TEACHER

Valerie L Hall, founder and director of RSVI

As a member of the Voice and Keyboard faculties of the Conservatory of Performing Arts, University of Regina, I enjoy an active teaching studio as well as the opportunity to present masterclasses and appear in faculty concerts.  In 2019  I created Regina Summer Voice Intensive as a vehicle to further inspire interest in and education about singing within the community.

My Teaching Pedigree

I teach voice and pipe organ through the Conservatory of Performing Arts, University of Regina. I am an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music with a diploma in Voice Performance, as well as holding degrees in Organ from the University of Manitoba (Bachelor of Music) and Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois (Master of Church Music). I have been an accredited member of the Saskatchewan Registered Music Teachers Association (SRMTA) in two disciplines (voice and organ) and have adjudicated in both disciplines  for the Provincial Music Festival Associations of both Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

RSVI 2019 was a great experience for my son, Kael. He received high-quality instruction from a wide range of specialists in a busy and challenging week. He made enormous strides as a vocalist. It was a thoroughly worthwhile experience.
